Shopping for Eid

While Ramadan is the time for fasting and prayers for our Muslim brothers and sisters, Eid is the time for festivities. Eid Al Fitr will start on the eve of Aug 18 Saturday and a lot of stores are giving great discounts on food, clothes, jewelries, electronics and more. Eid can be similarly compared to Christmas for Christians. 

There are different night markets or souq around Dubai showcasing different items from other Muslim countries

or opt for the convenience of malls like Diera City Center, Mall of the Emirates or IBN Battuta to shop for your Eid requirements. 

I'll check both just in case.

DSS 2012: Last Minute Shopping

Dubai Summer Surprises will end on 14th July, few more days of fun, shopping and more! 

I actually have a lot of shopping picks, sale and photos to share of DSS but been very busy and stressed lately. So this post will have lots of all those.

After my gym session yesterday at Burjuman Center, I checked some stores for my last minute shopping. I'm really saving it till the last days, since it means further reduction on prices!

I saw this Cobone deal but never got around purchasing one. With my recent positive experiences with group buying sites in the Philippines, I decided to try it here in Dubai too. 

Several options to play such as Credit or Debit Cards, Paypal, Cash on Delivery, etc. Of course I chose PP.

I plan to bring my girlfriends so I bought 3 vouchers. I'll definitely blog about it once we used the voucher.

One thing I can complain is their referral system, I referred a friend but never got the supposed to be reward.
